Should you wear that Black Hat?

Jon has made a post… err. a rant, about those who religiously vow to never use any SEO tactics. He quotes ShoeMoney saying that basically every SEO tactic that exists out there is Black Hat. Damn right baby! The fact that you delibrately tweaked your site in such a way that it ranks better is [...] [...more]

Webmonkey to be caged again?

I remember Lycos’ Webmonkey being the first ever resource that I used to learn CSS! However, it seems as if it is going to die for the third time. Valleywag has just leaked a letter that webmonkey edit sent out to to the site’s contributors – —–Original Message—– From: [redacted] To: [redacted] Subject: The Death [...] [...more]

I am unsubscribing from The Economist!

Yeah, I know I confessed that I am addicted to reading The Economist. Now before you misunderstand the reason why I am unsubscribing from it, I am doing so because of the very same addiction! Tyler Walicek’s MySpace Saga Post.

Tyler Walicek had dug-up into MySpace’s shady past and came up with an extremely interesting post about it on his blog (the blog now seem to have been deleted at BlogSpot). I can’t say how long will it remain at various search-engine caches, so here is the complete text of his post. [...more]

Boys and Girls – Guess who is back in the town?

15 days! 15 torturous days at a place where there was virtually no net access, had over 12 hours of electricity cuts and gas costs $4.70 a gallon! Oh another thing… my laptop kept dying! It now only has a battery backup of 20 minutes and keeps heating up. So all I could do in [...] [...more]

This is a viral video from Youtube that is getting a lot of attention.

I will let the author set the scene:

It was back in Oct 2005.

My wedding was about a month to go and I decided to make a memorable event for my future wife. But, I and she were working and due to preparation of wedding, I didn’t have enough budgets for expensive proposal. While I was considering for the event, I remembered what she said in the past. “Wow it would be great if I can get a chance to go in the room with full of yellow post it just like Sang Sang Plus” (Sang Sang Plus is one of the famous talk show (TV program) in Korea and they prepare a room with full of yellow post it – questions from fans to famous celebrity)

I wrote all the happy memories that I had with my wife in 5,940 post it. It took me 4 days & 5 nights to write everything and post it in the bathroom. (I tried main living room first, but, due to surface of wallpaper, I had to change the place) Once we back from honeymoon, we took all the post it off and kept it in the box until now.
