Mattias asked my opinion on a question that Seth posted on his blog :
Is marketing the art of tricking people into buying stuff they don’t need?
Or is it about spreading ideas that people fall in love with?
My answer : Marketing is spreading the right message, to the right people, at right time, displaying the benefits and values of your product / service to them and letting them decide if it is for them.
Going by Seth’s options, I’d pick b) it about spreading ideas that people fall in love with?
What’s your opinion on it?
