Something happened to me recently. My whole mindset has changed when it comes to approaching my business. I am serious.

Let me explain. Even thought I would say that I was not doing badly at all in what I do but at the same time I was not making the money that was in proportion to the excessive effort I was putting in my business.

This fact had me introspecting my business and work-style to find how could I get into the league of people who make mad-money on the net. Fortunately for me, last few months saw the starting of a trend that some uber-successful people started a few threads on a forum and a blog.

Suddenly I realized that I was approaching my business the wrong way. Okay it was not completely wrong but it was not the best way to make money out there.

The problem was that the little me was focusing too much on “high quality” content with a lifetime value. Now don’t get me wrong — High Quality content is IMPORTANT. That’s the reason why people will come to your site. But my problem was that I was not doing desire targeting (must read advice).

That’s going to change now. I won’t be really doing anything on my sites that I would not want to see on other sites that I am addicted to (something like 100% commercialization with no ‘real’ content and like that) but you will see some pleasant change and my banker will also see a smile on his face.

Most of my new e-ventures are now going to focus on those who are going to visit my sites with a purchase mindset. It’s difficult for me to really explain but if you haven’t already, read the threads and the blogs I linked you to.

Even though I don’t really go into the specifics of my business and investments but I will keep you updated on how things go overall. Stay tuned.
