4 Life Changing Lessons I Learned in 2007
Posted on 21 December 2007 by DeanHunt
2007 was a great year for me, but this is mainly down to four valuable lessons that I have learnt this year. I assure you, if you learn from these lessons, 2008 could be your best year yet.

1 – Define Your Goals
* What do you want out of life?
* How will you get what you want out of life?
* What steps need to be taken now?
* What do you really want to do?
These are all questions you need to ask yourself. If you don’t know where you want to be, how will you know how to get there?
2 – Time and Money Management
What I want you to do is pick one day and monitor in detail how you spend your time. Do this in 20 minute chucks, and record as much as possible. It may surprise you to see how much time you have been wasting.
Then, I want you to do the same, but this time record your spending of money for one whole week.
Managing your time and money correctly are essential.
3 – Start Taking Educated Risks
I have done things in 2007 that have scared me. To some people they may have seemed very daunting, but remember this… there is a difference between a risk and an educated risk. Look to start taking more educated risks in 2008.
4 – Learn From Your Mistakes
If you are blaming other people for your mistakes, you will never get ahead in life. Here are some techniques you should use in 2008:
* When you make a mistake, admit it.
* When you’re wrong, admit it.
* Take back one small area of your life and make a conscious, active decision to change it day by day. If you’re overweight, this means acknowledging that you’re overweight, realizing that it’s nobody’s fault but yours, and designing a plan to lose weight.
These are four of the life changing lessons I learned in 2007. I hope you can apply them to your life in 2008.
