Blogging Delivered. But where?

One of the creative for AT&T’s multi-million ‘your world delivered’ campaign which has caused the most buzz, in blogosphere especially, is the Blogging Delivered billboard (another proof that people just love talking about themselves
).
However, someone on Flickr has found out that AT&T has absolutely no idea what a blog is! If you try searching for the word blog on AT&T’s site, you get no results. So much for paying attention to small details.
Dunno but if I was the one who was managing this campaign then I would have made sure that each of the creative comes with a mini site with a url something like delivered.att.com/what-that-creative-claims-to-deliver.
You want the prospects to take action. And not caring about the ability of Brand Marketing campaigns to incite people take action is what gives brand advertising a bad name.

First of all, I bust out laughing when I read the entry title. I dont know why but that just amused me greatly! Maybe its because I asked myself when they started offering blogging related services when I saw that huge billboard. Okay okay, I know they do internet connections but still!
Seoncdly, the mini site url is a damned good idea - a really damn good idea. In addition to what you already mentioned, its could be used to measure how effective a particular slogan or even how effective certain advertising mediums are if each has its own slogans! Genius!

That’s hilarious. It’s funny when big corporations forget to do the little things. It makes you think that maybe they’re just too big.
