Roll up Roll up, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls… I bring you authority blogger stalking. Fun for all the family.

Firstly, what is authority blogger stalking?: It is the art of getting an authority blogger to notice you. Eventually leading to them linking to you or mentioning you on their blog.

So how do we attract the attention of the authority bloggers?

Well, if they have a Wordpress blog, then linking to them is the quickest way of getting noticed. I am not sure how effective it is, but if you don’t try, then you have failed.

Hopefully some of the above will read this and play along with our little game/experiment.

If that doesn’t work then you can move onto stage two.

Make them love you

In the online world there is one thing more than any other that helps get people as moist as an otters pocket.

Send them buckets of traffic!

You can do this by digging their best articles, submitting them to Stumbleupon, writing reviews about them and posting them on your blogs etc…

If all else fails

By now one of the authority bloggers should have at the very least mentioned you in a blog post, but if not, then there is only one option remaining…. grab some binoculars, some snacks, and a tent, and go and sleep in their gardens.
