Numpty Of The Week
Posted on 18 July 2007 by DeanHunt

I am not sure if the word “numpty” is used outside of the UK, so just incase, here are some possible replacements:
idiot, fool, prat, joker, moron
You get the picture.
So here is the story: this morning I was having my morning surf of the net, when I came across an article that promised to teach me how to write really great articles. Superb! I have had my content discussed in over 17 languages, but there is always room for improvement.
So I clicked on this life changing article and it took a while to load, I was nervous, the suspense was killing me… I now know how Gary Glitter feels when he is waiting for the school bell to ring at 3pm.
The page finally loaded and I was ready to get stuck into the advice that would change my article writing forever.
Then I was hit my the cold hard realisation that the writer was not infact some writing prodigy sent from heaven, but a complete numpty!
The article was awful, clearly the writer writes for adsense and not an audience.
So what can we learn from this? Well, I have learnt one valuable lesson that I feel it is my duty to bestow upon you lovely readers:
Lesson of the week: Never look for writing advice from an article entitled “Write a Readable Articles”
You couldn’t make it up!
