My HUGE Dilemma
Posted on 27 June 2007 by DeanHunt
I need your help!

I will try and keep this as short as possible, but please bear with me as I am pretty pissed right now (angry, NOT drunk… not yet anyway)
First my problem: I just paid almost $40 for an info product on Internet Marketing and it SUCKED! Seriously, it is awful.
Why did I buy it?: I make good money from Internet marketing, but NOBODY knows everything! There are always areas I am keen to brush up on, and even hearing something you already know can inspire ideas or cement knowledge. Also, there has been a lot of hype for this product recently, so I was curious to see if it lived up to the hype.
My Dilemma: Here is that BIG issue… do I name and shame this product? Should I write a review? Should I publish my thoughts, or post them via email?
12 months ago I would have had no issue with naming and shaming, but these days you have to be careful. What should I do? What would you do?
I don’t want anyone to waste their money on this, so I really am tempted to publish a review.
On a sidenote, you may be thinking… but Dean, all info products, ebooks, videos etc are utter crap and scams! I agree that a large % fit that criteria, but there is some really valuable stuff out there.
Your feedback would be greatfully appreciated.
Dean

Shame it. Write a review, call it a review, and they have no recourse. If you can substantiate your gripes, then you have every right to tell people about what a pile of crap it is. If you don’t want to put it on your blog, I’d be happy to have you write the piece and I’ll post it with pride on mine.

Don’t feed energy into something you don’t believe in… invest that energy into something positive like products you feel will make a difference. Remember that bad advertising is still getting their name out there to many others.

If there’s one new thing that’ll make you a buck, then it’s wothwhile but most are rehashes of the same old stuff. After 5+ years of full-time online income, I’m more and more convinced you can make money off anything as long as you can hijack enough eyeballs your way.
Traffic is king, not the list, and if you can generate enough buzz, the traffic arives in droves. And that’s why I’m hanging around your sites soaking up your marketing buzz.
If I was you (and you’re glad I’m not!), I’d probably be saying that about the Site Stealer package. I was hoping there’d be at least one really good viral plagarizer in there, but oh well…
