Today I am going to share with you a lesson that will transform your business and website. With this information you will be able to get more traffic and sales than your competitors, but it won’t cost you a cent.

I will start this article with a confession: I created the page title “You Are Going To Die” with the aim of grabbing your attention. If you are reading this, then my technique worked perfectly. It is an extreme example, but it does lead me perfectly to the number one rule that every webmaster needs to know…

*GET NOTICED OR DIE*

There are millions of new sites being created every day. To stand out from the crowd is getting harder and harder. Some people achieve this exposure by spending millions in advertising, but for the other 99.9999% it is a battle to the death to be noticed.

I use a simple formula to help explain this:

Not being noticed = No visitors…   No visitors = Website dies…  Website dies = No sexy blonde girlfriend

Internet users have a low patience threshold, which means you often have less than 2 seconds to grab their attention. Go and have a look at some of the pages on your site and ask yourself “would this demand attention in less than 2 seconds?”.

If you answer is no, then your site is at risk of death. It will eventually get less and less traffic, and will eventually become a parking page for some Romanian kid who will make $2 per month from the site.

The good news for you is that there is one simple rule that will not only prevent your site from an early death, but it will turn your site into a handsome, rich, charismatic, money making machine.
