How IDIOTS trade links

So you are looking for more backlinks to your site? good for you! but unless you are capable of sending millions of spam e-mails without getting your ass sent to prison then you will need a decent technique to get a good success rate.

Today I am going to share with you how a clever and successful person…. AKA me, writes a link trade request, but first let’s look at how most fools write their link trade e-mails:
Note: If this seems like the sort of thing you would write then you my friend are an idiot!
Hello,
My name is Mr Idiot and I would like to trade links with your site. My site is great and has a pagerank of 4, so this means that a link trade will benefit us both.
If you would like to do a link trade then add my link with the anchor text “I am a stupid idiot loser” and I will link back to you once we have confirmed your link.
Thanks,
Stupid idiot
Sounds familiar doesn’t it? I bet this is the sort of thing you are deleting from your inbox on a daily basis.
So how do you write a link trade request that is going to have a higher succes rate?
The so called SEO experts will tell you to switch the focus from ME to YOU, and they will tell you to put a link to the persons site BEFORE contacting them. They will also recommend that you add detailed information about your site.
This technique MAY increase your success rate %, but if you want to be as successful and good looking as me then you will need to follow my three golden rules on link trade request e-mails.
Buster BS Golden Rules
1 – Do NOT mass send your e-mails. Sending 1000′s of generic e-mails may sound like a clever idea, but it will not work! it is also a great way of getting your domain added to spam lists.
2 – Personalise your e-mails. Using things like “Dear site owner” is a great way to get your e-mail deleted. Find the name of the site owner and make the e-mail as personal as possible. Also mention something from the site that you liked. Flattery will get you everywhere
3 – Be CREATIVE, CHARMING, and FUNNY. You are probably thinking that sending generic e-mails is a lot faster and easier, and you would be correct, but you would also be stupid! You should be able to write one of these e-mails in under 5 minutes, so that is 12 per hour. I have seen success rates of over 50% with this technique, the average for a standard link trade e-mail is less than 1%
I always try and find an amusing few lines to add to the e-mail. Try not to take your e-mail too seriosuly as well, most webmasters really don’t care about your site, so pretend you are trying to write something interesting enough to amuse and entertain someone who has no interest in link trades.
Also, many webmasters still don’t really know what a link trade is, so instead of boring them with technical details you should try and build rapport and amuse them.
Once you have achieved this they will probably link to you and not even ask for a link back.
So stop sending your boring e-mails and start being successful.
BS Buster.
