Google Notebook — My New Addiction.

Posted on 31 December 2006 by Lord Brar

Google Notebook Woah! The things that Google does. No I ain’t talking about the recent halaboo over the Google Tips or mail of some GMail users being abducted by aliens or the doubts over Google Top Searches List for 2006.

I am actually talking about one of the best thing to come out of Google Labs since Google Search err. No! GMail. Nopsy. Google Calender. Actually, it’s the coolest thing since the sliced bread.

I am talking about the Google Notebook.

And you know what’s teh coolest thing about this “Google Invention”? It’s the browser plugin which allows me to right click on any snippet of text anywhere in the browser window, select the option to post it to Google Notebook and ka-ching I have a note.

The reason why I am absolutely addicted to Google Notebook is that there used to be a time when I would have 30-40 tabs open in my FireFox and I’d read a nugget somewhere but in a blink of an eye it would slide under the load of other tabs.

Now? As soon as I see something — just note it!

And oh, another bonus — Google Notebook acts as an online Bookmark too.

Go try it once. I am sure you will also get addicted to it.

Lord, I’ve been using Notebook since you suggested it. Not addicted yet, but a great way to squirrel away stuff you find on the web ‘for later’. Thanks!
