7 Best Tips for someone who is just Starting in Business.

Sometime ago I was features as a success story on a site called Net Business Talk. One of the questions which I was asked was that the best advice I have for a newcomer? I pointed out 7 things that I have learnt throughout the time I’ve been in business.
Just in case you did not read it there, here are my 7 best tips for anyone who is just starting in business (with a bit more explanation).
You must always remember that no one is affected by your success or failure but you. What you will be in future depends on your current actions, so, start taking responsibility for them.
Most people try to avoid reality. They try to tell themselves that they are safe and secure in their fantasy world and love thinking that future will always stay the same (or get nothing but better by itself).
What they do not realize is the importance of asking themselves the hard question which will give them a reality check.
You must ask yourself : what if all your investments or resources that you have today were to be wiped out (say a complete market crash), do have the skills to get back on your feet and attain the same level of life that you are living today? What if, though I pray that nothing like this ever happens to anyone, you lose your whole family or their support, are you ready to face a situation like this?
If you are not, think about how you can prepare yourself for it and then execute the plan! This is the really though part that most people want to avoid by avoiding the reality.
Life is a wonderful adventure but it is a very tough terrain to cross. At one stage or other, you will face some sort of difficulty. You have to be ready to face it and the only way to be prepared to overcome it would be to know where you really stand now.
The keyword here is execution. No, not people but plans and ideas.A lot business plans and ideas that are absolutely poised to be blockbusters never see the day of light. Why? Because they never get executed.
Your ideas and plans will never become a reality until you do something to make them a reality. So, don’t just keep thinking about doing something but get off your ass and do something. A little action is better than no action all. And yes, it is the drops of water that fill an ocean.
In simple words, don’t let the fear of failing or doing something, because there are big sharks playing in the segment, hold you back from trying out some venture.
Who knows you might come up with an idea which the big guys could not ever think of and it might become your ticket to success.
If you are going to do something, why not do it in grandest possible way? Start small (i.e. what you can easily manage) but keep your vision big and try to achieve it.That’s exactly how the companies that are big today became big.
I’ve been there done that and trust me, it is not really the place where you want to be.
How do I avoid worrying whenever I am faced with a problem? Simple, I remind myself that for every problem in world there is either a solution or there isn’t. If there is let’s find it otherwise never mind it.
You should not forget your desires and work to achieve them. However, don’t worry about tomorrow’s problems today.
Failures will be there and so will be obstacles but just stay put. Don’t forget that the temptation to quit will be most just before you are about to achieve success.
Just as Johnny Walker’s tagline goes – Keep Walking. And, you will reach your aim some day.
All the best!

Those are great suggestions. I especially like “don’t forget that Rome was not built in a day,” “think big,” and “you are responsible for yourself.” I try and live by everything you wrote about, but “think big” really hits home with me. Too many Internet entrepreneurs are thinking about how they can churn out a small turnkey website when they should be thinking about how they can make something huge.
