Scott Adams, the creator of Dilbert, is dispensing some great street lessons on how to make people thing that you are smarter than you actually are. Here’s what he is advising (in summary) –
1. Wear Glasses. Yes, it makes people think that you really are the banker-type.
2. Start talking less and listening more.
3. Learn and use some high-end words which are being used by high-end publications and which most people will not understand.
4. Learn to agree with people.
For most people, the definition of smart is “Thinks exactly like me but even more so.?
5. Become an expert on everything by learning everything about something and then learning the art of steering conversation in opposite direction.
