Mine is Bigger than yours — Job Board, that is!

Sometime ago I read an excellent book called Liar’s Poker by Michael Lewis. Though the book is mainly about the rise and demise of Solomon Brothers but it covers Wall Street in general.
There was this one comment which Michael had made about these firms where he said that they all follow one principle — God gave you eyes, plagiarize!
What he basically meant was that if something turns out to be a success for any of the firms, other firms usually have copycat products up in no time.
It seems as if this principle has hit home with most top-bloggers. First it was 37 Signals, then it was TechCrunch and now it is ProBlogger. Yeah there are a few others too along with these three.
What I find amazing is not that they have all started a job board (hey niches are good) but that their systems (design, styling andyada yada) are nearly rip-off of 37s’ original.
Com’on guys — I know you can be more creative than this.
