How much money is too much money?

I remember reading in an old issue of Fortune Magazine when a reporter commented to a Hedge Fund manager that what do they do with so much money? She said that if she had a million dollar then should retire and enjoy life.
To this, the fund manager replied — That’s why you will never make a Million dollar.
Reason? We humans always have a tendency to compromise with ourselves to accept a smaller return after seeing the amount of hard work our goals would need to be achieved — and that is what you need to avoid. Have big desires and when you achieve them, don’t rest but make them even bigger! 
The bottom line is — no amount of money is too much money. Understand?
