Another adsense tip – Make sure your URL has the right keywords.

Ok here’s just another quick adsense tip (post another here) — Be sure to stuff some keywords in your URL.
AdSense doesn’t disclose how it works — doesn’t that sound just soo googlish? However, by experimenting you can find what works.
And this was just another thing I observed.
When I put some other keywords and the page is opened for the first time (i.e. indexed by Google MediaBot) then the ads which show have direct co-relation with the keywords in your URL.
Although it works only till the MediaBot has analysed your page and then it starts showing ads more related to the context of the page… as it is supposed to.
Another thing which I have observed is that if any of your page has not been visited for a long time and you visit it again then the ads which are shown in there are not those analyzed previously but is rather treated like a new page.
In other words, the visitor may be seeing non-page related ads and you may lose money!
So, it is always a better idea to use descriptive keywords in your page URL. WordPress allows you to change the url by editing the post slug.
