His rise to fame was this screenshot of his CJ account that he posted on SitePoint Forums –
Even though he was already blogging on Chris’ WebSitePublisher.net but Jon has started his own blog and is getting consulting business.
I will be launching a new website that will deal with 1 on 1 consulting. It’s not going to be a by the hour type deal, instead, the client will submit a list of 20 questions, and I will answer those on top of their goal that they’d like to reach. I will most probably be charging about $300 for this.
Now mind you, this pricing for someone who is such an expert is hardly anything! I do feel that he will make much-much more if he starts answering questions publicly on his blog and puts ads on it — you know, the power of making money without raising a finger. But who am I to tell Jon about it? :p
Anyway, that’s another site to add to my daily reading list!
